The "Neck and Shoulders"

This size measures 6"x18".  You should be able to get an hour or more of heat from this size.  Depending on how insulated it is.  It is a bit of a misnomer to call this one a neck warmer only as it is great for so many other things.  I have several people using it for joint pain, particularly knees.  You can use it on your lower back or the length of your back or wrap it around a hip that's acting up.  It is great for arthritic pain.  Physical therapists love it because it heats up to 130° and is considered a moist heat - it will result in a deep heat.  
You can also use it when you are cold!! When you start getting cold, take out your Quantum Heat Pack  and press the button inside the pack.  In seconds the salt crystals will heat up to 130° F.  By comparison most single use  heat packs warm up to about 104ºF.  So with the Quantum Heat Pack, you get considerably more heat and it only takes a few seconds.  It is fairly simple chemistry - the aluminum button inside triggers a reaction with the super-saturated salt and water and the salt (sodium acetate) start to crystallize.  As it does it gives off heat.
Because it is also completely portable, you can be anywhere - you don't need to plug it in to use or warm it up in a microwave.
