Snowboarding and skiing are pretty active sports. Even when it is cold one's body stays fairly warm. If you slow down though you may find your body start to chill. Use the heat pad near the end of your time on the slopes. If you are using the hand warmers inside your gloves or mitts you will get 20-30 minutes of heat - time it accordingly. If you find youself stranded or stuck somewhere you can place a recently activated hot pack on your back near your kidneys which can help heat your whole body.
Once the heat is 'used up' take the Quantum Heat Pack back to your lodging and following the instructions bring it back to a liquid so that you can use it tomorrow.
